Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026. This policy explains what ArgusFlow collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
ArgusFlow is a service that builds and manages an online presence for small local businesses anywhere. We are the data fiduciary for the information described below. You can reach us at hello@argusflow.ai.
What we collect
When you ask for a free audit
- Your shop name, city or area, and shop category.
- Your WhatsApp number.
- Basic technical information about the visit: the page you came from, any campaign tags in the link, and your browser's user agent.
- A one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address, used only to spot abuse of the form. We do not store the IP address itself.
When you become a customer
- The messages you send us on WhatsApp and our replies, so an account manager can pick up where the conversation left off.
- Business information you give us for your listing: address, opening hours, services, prices, and photos.
- Contact details of customers you ask us to send review requests to — only the phone numbers or email addresses you provide for that purpose.
Why we collect it
- To run the free audit you asked for and send you the result.
- To build and maintain your website and your Google Business Profile.
- To send review requests to customers you list.
- To let a human account manager review work before it is published.
- To keep the service secure and to stop abuse of our forms.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share your WhatsApp number with advertisers. We do pass information to the following service providers, only as far as is needed to deliver the service:
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) — to send and receive the messages themselves.
- Google — the business details you ask us to publish on your Google Business Profile, which is public by design.
- AI model providers (such as Anthropic and Google) — the content needed to draft your listing and website copy. We do not send them your customers' contact details.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our application and database.
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to under applicable law.
Reviews
We send review requests to every customer on the list you give us. We do not pre-screen customers, ask how they intend to rate you, or suppress requests to people we think might leave a poor review. Filtering review requests by expected sentiment breaks Google's policies, and we will not do it on your behalf.
How long we keep it
- Audit enquiries that do not become customers: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer records and conversations: for as long as you are a customer, and for 12 months afterwards so we can reinstate your service if you come back.
- Customer contact lists for review requests: deleted once the requests have been sent, unless you ask us to keep them for recurring sends.
Your rights
Under the data protection law that applies to you (the GDPR in Europe, India's DPDP Act 2023, and similar laws elsewhere), you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it, or withdraw consent you previously gave. Message us on WhatsApp or email hello@argusflow.ai and we will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent means we can no longer run the service for you.
If your website and Google Business Profile were built by us, they are yours. If you leave, we hand them over rather than taking them down.
Children
This service is for business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell existing customers on WhatsApp before it takes effect.
